Alex – Lead Swimming Teacher – Burton

My name is Alex and I’m the Head Swimming Teacher at St George’s Park. I am a Swim England Level 2 qualified teacher, with a lot of experience and knowledge to be able to support anyone through their swimming journey. I believe adaptability and inclusiveness should be at the forefront of teaching swimming and everyone should have the opportunity to learn to swim

I spent the majority of my childhood in competitive swimming, where I travelled around the Midlands competing in galas and open meets. I began assisting swimming lessons when I was 14 through my swim club, which led me into gaining my teaching qualification when I turned 16. Since beginning to work in the leisure industry, I have gained a lot of experience and qualifications but have a real passion for teaching swimming
