I began swimming at 4 years old on a family holiday. Ever since I have been an avid swimmer, being in and around the world of swimming from a young age as my mother was a swimming teacher herself. Me and my siblings had pretty much no choice but to learn to swim to a good standard.
I got my first teaching qualification at 17. Since then I have grown to immensely enjoy being a swimming teacher as it is an incredibly rewarding job seeing people of all ages become confident and able in the water for the first time. This is my main drive for teaching.
As a teacher, above all I hope to make lessons feel valuable, for people to feel each time they swim with me that they grow or learn in some way, even if it’s something very small.
