Hi, my names Holly-Eva. I’m based in Birmingham at the Hilton Metropole. I’ve been teaching swimming for 5 years and I’ve been a member of Boldmere Swimming Club since the age of 5, where I swam competitively for them and finally went on to teach with the Learn to Swim Programme.
I am passionate about swimming especially how important it is everybody leans to swim no matter how young or old you are. I am patient, caring and a good communicator, I try and make my lessons as fun as possible, so you are learning essential lifesaving skills without realising. The majority of my lessons I teach in the water to make demonstrations realistic and on hand for people lacking confidence and I’m there for reassurance.
I teach people of all ages and abilities from beginners who have never been swimming to competent swimmers who just want to improve their techniques. I teach people with additional needs and I always take the time to find out how they are feeling that lesson and structure it around there needs. I always try to ensure people enjoy their lessons and get as much out of it as possible.

Holly is a great tutor. She was calm, understanding and listened to my anxieties of being in the pool. Opening up about my concerns enabled Holly to work with me through my fears. I would recommend anyone to give swimming a go, you can do it if you believe in yourself and your instructor. We had a few laughs during my lessons too, all helped with relaxation and overcoming fears. I will miss my lessons with Holly

Holly-Eva is a wonderful swim teacher. My 9 year old daughter had always been so fearful of the water. We tried everything to help her but just couldn’t help her get over her fear to even begin to help her learn to swim. Then we found out about swim now and met Holly-Eva. She has been having lessons with Holly-Eva since January and now she is swimming underwater and can swim all 4 strokes! All in 5 months! Holly-Eva has helped her build her confidence and she absolutely loves her swim lessons every week. Holly-Eva is an amazing teacher and I would highly recommend her.
Holly-Eva is an amazing teacher to my two boys. They are so excited to see her every lesson. She is so patient with them and really takes her time to make sure they are both having fun while they learn to swim and be safe in the pool. She always makes sure to give feedback after every lesson so that I know where they are in ability. Wonderful teacher!
I started my 7 year old in March of this year. He was very nervous around water, couldn’t swim and wouldn’t jump in or put his head under water. 7 months later he has just swam 40 meters, happily swims underwater and will cannon ball jump into a pool. Holly is an amazing teacher and built his confidence gently challenging him to improve each week. The progress he made with 121 tuition was many times faster than group classes. Swimming is now his favourite pass time and it’s all thanks to Holly, thank you
Holly-Eva Has been a brilliant teacher for my 11 year old daughter Zoe. Zoe has learnt so much and improved her technique and stamina since having Holly-Eva as her teacher. Holly-Eva Is a passionate and dedicated teacher who knows how to get the best out of her students. Zoe is at a level now where my wife and I are looking to move her to a competitive club. Zoe just missed out on her schools swim team this year. This is down to Holly-Eva who has provided the push along with Fun to learn for Zoe.
I have no reservations in recommending Holly-Eva.

Holly is an amazing instructor very friendly, clear and patient with her customers. She provides the perfect advice to make you feel confident in your abilities. A true asset to the team.
I am so happy with my progress with swim now. My teacher Holly Eva is amazing at her job. She is very patient and her calm nature really helped me to feel comfortable during lessons. She goes at my pace and will not let me do anything am not comfortable with but has a way of encouraging me to push myself. By my second week I went from my fear of water to floating in the pool confidently. Then gradually Holly added in front crawl and breast stroke and now am perfecting my technique. My goal was to feel confident in water and not just sit by the pool on holiday. But thanks to Holly I can now swim. I would say by 6 weeks I was swimming without any aids., however I enjoyed my lessons so much that, I kept my lessons going and am now learning more about techniques. Swimming is now my favourite weekly activity and I never thought I will ever achieve this as I thought I left it too late. My kids now love that I can join them in the pool when we are on holiday. Thank you soo much Holly.
