Hi I’m kerry
Swimming has always been my passion for as long as I can remember. I started Swimming at the age of 5 and at the age of 8 I swam competitively. By the age of 12 I was Swimming at national level.
At 16 I started working for Newcastle city Council teaching Swimming and I have now been teaching Swimming for 26 years.
I am a qualified Swimming teacher, diving teacher, adult and baby teacher and a disability teacher.
In my years of teaching I have gained alot of experience, especially working with autistic children which is my passion.
I like to make all my lessons fun in a safe environment, as children learn key aquatic skills without even realising they are, children may feel like we are playing a game but they are learning while having fun.
With adults I listen to their goals and we put together a plan and work together to achieve it.
With my experience I can adapt any lesson to each individual to make sure my clients achieve their goals ,communication is key.
Being a Swimming teacher is very rewarding for me , watching my clients achieve their goals makes me a very happy Swimming teacher.
Swimming is a very important life skill and I am very fortunate now to be teaching with a company like Swim Now.
