I have been passionate about swimming for as long as I can remember. I began assisting in a local swim school aged 11 and completed my qualifications as soon as I was able to.
I enjoy working with children and adults to gain their confidence and improve their technique to become confident swimmers.
I have a degree in Education Studies with SEND and have worked as a class teacher in SEND schools, particularly with ADHD and ASC students.
Sarah has completely transformed my children’s swimming style. Their technique and confidence has improved beyond recognition. They love being taught by her as she challenges them without overwhelming them. She is patient and makes the sessions really enjoyable. I can’t recommend her enough.

I had my first taster lesson with Sarah and we achieved so much. I’m a self taught YouTube swimmer and I wanted Sarah to help tweak my freestyle stroke and get me through my mental block around tumble turns. She very quickly identified things that I could improve and immediately the stroke felt better and by the end I was also doing 90% of a proper tumble turn. So much improvement for 1hr. Sarah was really personable and clearly knew her stuff and communicated brilliantly. I’d thoroughly recommend her for swimming lessons.
Sarah is the best swimming instructor one can have. She is extremely patient and supportive in her approach. When I hit a brick wall and not able to learn she always have strategies to help me improve. I totally recommend her if anyone keen to learn swimming.
As an adult I was reluctant to have swimming lessons. It’s something you’re supposed to be able to do by the time you finish primary school, right? Sarah has this way of putting you at ease & not judging anyone. My confidence in water has improved (had a near drowning experience as a child & since avoided deep water) & I can now happily breaststroke to a sufficient level that I can get into a pool or the sea on holiday.
Sarah is extremely personable & very accommodating with moving lessons if needed. She has the right amount of positive reinforcement & no nonsense attitude.

Sarah is a great swimming teacher. She has been teaching our 15 year old daughter for many months and has helped to boost her confidence, not only in the water, but in her communication skills too. Sarah is experienced in working with children with autism and this has been evident throughout. She is kind, patient and chats away about my daughter’s interests with her, putting her at ease from the very first lesson. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone 🙂
Sarah is a fantastic teacher for our little ones (age 4&5). Both have a lot more confidence in the pool and eldest can swim unaided in less than 6 months! Youngest has a lot of additional needs that Sarah is able to accommodate and she has gained the girls trust and makes sure they are safe in and around the pool. Could not have chosen a better swim teacher for the girls, we really lucked out!

Sarah is a great with instructor with a calming personality. She taught my ASD daughter and was brilliant with her. She has a calming influence and adapted to my daughters needs which are routine and direct instruction.
